2. What data we collect and why
We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the app's functionality. The table below lists every category of data processed.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, IP address, or any payment card information. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play — we never receive or store your payment details.
3. Health-related data
Information about nicotine use may constitute health data under Article 9 GDPR (special category data). Because this data is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party, we do not act as a data controller for special category data. If you uninstall the app, all data is permanently deleted.
4. Data sharing and third parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party.
The only external services involved are Apple App Store and Google Play, which process your payment and manage app distribution under their own privacy policies. Snexit does not receive personal data from these transactions beyond a confirmation that a purchase was made.
5. International data transfers
Your data is stored on your device and is not transferred internationally by us. Apple and Google may sync purchase status to their cloud infrastructure (iCloud / Google Play Backup) in accordance with their own terms.
6. Data retention
All data is stored locally on your device. There is no server-side storage. Data is retained for as long as you use the app. When you uninstall Snexit, all locally stored data is deleted. You may also clear app data at any time through your device settings.
7. Your rights under GDPR
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:
- Right of access (Art. 15): You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification (Art. 16): You may correct inaccurate data directly within the app settings.
- Right to erasure (Art. 17): You may delete your data by uninstalling the app or clearing app data from your device.
- Right to data portability (Art. 20): Since all data is stored locally, you have full access and control of it at all times.
- Right to object (Art. 21): You may object to data processing based on legitimate interest.
- Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)): Where processing is based on consent (e.g. notifications), you may withdraw consent at any time in your device settings.

8. Right to lodge a complaint

9. Children
Snexit is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the app, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
10. Automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling as defined in Article 22 GDPR.
11. Cookies and tracking
The Snexit mobile app does not use cookies. Our website may use essential technical cookies only. We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies on our website.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the app. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
